Sightseeing Tours in Rome

Our  itinerary for private groups is : 
Starting from the Vatican Area you will admire Saint Peter's Basilica with its square  and the Papal residence. Then we will follow the Tiber river  driving on the Lungo Tevere road up  to Trastevere, a typical Roman area.

On the left you can see  the Tiberine island, then the Pyramid Cestia, an ancient Roman tomb with the pyramid shape.The Caracalla Baths, that we will see next used to be  the ancient Roman’s hot springs, next to it  the beginning of the Ancient Appian way, the  first of the famous Roman ways to be built. After that we’ll see the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, still the Cathedral of Rome, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum,  built for gladiator games, the Circus Maximus where chariots raced, the Palatine hill where Romulus founded Rome in 754 B.C., Piazza Venezia with the big national monument called the Vittoriano, the Imperial Forums and the Roman Forum where the ancient Roman civilization started and developed.

Here ends our sightseeing.
 
To end our tour we will stop to  one of the baroque Roman squares that is not possible to see from the bus like the Spanish Steps or Piazza Navona  .
